Have you ever gone onto Bret Harte Little League’s website and thought “there’s nothing on here”? Are you tech savvy? Are you familiar with computers? Well then we need you as Information Officer. The Information Officer is responsible for maintaining the leagues’ homepage and ensuring that league news and scores are updated on a regular basis.
Do you love baseball but don’t have the time to manage a team? Do you have a solid understanding of the rules of baseball? Well then we need you as Umpire in Chief. The Umpire in Chief is responsible for training and scheduling umpires for the leagues games, keeping managers and coaches appraised of Little League rules, and filing all necessary reports with the District.
Are you a local business owner with connections in the community? Do you like to support your local youth programs? Well then we need you as Sponsorship Coordinator. As Sponsorship Coordinator you will be responsible for gathering and collecting sponsorships for our teams to help offset the cost and keep our registration fees as low as possible. You will also be responsible for coordinating the hanging of sponsorship banners, thank you letters and other communication and acknowledgement of our sponsors.
We are also asking for interested persons to submit their names for manager or coaching positions. Even if you cannot fully commit at this time, we need to start the process now. So, if you are considering helping out a team this season, please let us know ASAP.
Bret Harte Little League is an all volunteer organization. We work year round to make this league possible. In order to do this, volunteers are needed. The time commitment is minimal but the impact is great! Please consider volunteering for these open positions.Let’s start the 2022 season off smoothly so that our children can enjoy the sport they love.
